Summer was well and truly alive this past weekend, with scorching days, warm evenings, and the aroma of BBQ dinners cooking throughout the neighbourhood. The shops were frantic on Friday, but seemed to quieten down by Sunday – perhaps suggesting people have started their Christmas holidays early and headed out of town??? As for us? Well we still have one final working day left and it is looking like a hectic one at that. We worked much of the weekend too, but that’s not to say we didn’t find time for fun amongst the chaos. Because there is always time for fun when you have a cheeky toddler in tow! Like fun in a bucket…
And an impromptu trip to visit Santa (again). She loves this guy!
Learning that your daughter dislikes icy food – with gelato being pretty much at the top of the ‘ugh’ list.
Putting the finishing touches on the tree….
And opening a few presents early….
But for now – time to get this day started…..then kick back and enjoy a week off! Happiness indeed! What about you? Still working or started holidays?
Aww she looks so happy! And isn't that funny that she doesn't like icy items? I thought all kids loved ices and that sort of thing. Glad to hear that she loves Santa though! 🙂
Oh my goodness, that last photo is just too cute! Wishing you and your family a very merry christmas and all the best for 2014.
