Sometimes life just calls for a little indulgence. A little sweetness, a little richness. And what better way to indulge than with a big batch of chocolate brownies!
I used this Donna Hay recipe, finished with some fresh raspberries pressed into the batter before it went into the oven.
Perhaps I let them cook a little too long, as they werenโt as fudgy as I would have liked. Perhaps more cake-like, than brownie-likeโฆ
But no matter as the flavour was spot on!
Rich, dark chocolate.
With bursts of tartness from the fresh and gorgeous raspberries.
I served these warm, with a scoop of double cream. And yes, they were just what the doctor ordered! What about you? Are you a fan of brownies?
